Warm and sunny day for April.  Went out around 10:30am it was already 60 degrees and probably warmed up a few more before we got done. Ran just over 2 miles with Kim then she did her loop while I went to do some hill repeats.

Plan was for hill ladder repeats 1min-2min-3min-2-1-2-3 @ 5K-3K effort, jogging down the hill between each one.  The 1-2-3-2-1 wasn't so bad, but the last 2-3 was not so fun. Guess it's not supposed to be that fun.

Finished up with 3 mile cooldown with Kim.

I haven't checked on you for a while. It seems you and Kim are both running well. That's good to see. Alma 17:2. Now I just need to get back to being a runner again myself. I have sure enjoyed running again. I need to get in race shape so I can see my running friends again at events.

I saw Paul's post this morning and then noticed your comment on yesterday's post. It looks like you're running well (certainly one of the rewards of consistency). I really want to be more like you when I grow up.

Looks like you have some fun races coming up this year. After I go into the ten year club this year, I'm thinking of making taking a year just to run half marathons (that's really my favorite distance). You've got me thinking about doing the Ogden half in May.

Great to hear from you guys! Although I've been blogging again for quite a while I haven't really much been following anyone except for maybe Terry B. Now that I know both of you are back among the running/blogging living I look forward to seeing how things are going for you.

Paul I hadn't realized you had gone the surgery route with your pubalgia aka sports hernia. That's the same think I was diagnosed with a few years ago but at that time after consulting with the docs and with the surgery still being a bit experimental (and likely not covered by my insurance) I decided to go the PT route rather than surgery. That's worked pretty well but I do still have the lower ab & groin pains kick up sometimes, kinda like all my other "itis's" that I've picked up over the years. Nice to be able to see how things go with the surgery option with you in case I decide to take that route down the road.

Looks forward to seeing you guys at some races. I'm currently signed up for Ogden HM, UV HM, TOU marathon (running with Kim) and hopefully SG (pacing Kim to BQ!).
