The canyon mega-wind-chill reign of terror continues, 20 to 30 mph wind gusts again for the 3rd day straight during the morning hours. Even so we had a pretty good size group of runners out I think maybe a dozen runners showed up. Headed west to have the wind at our back, at least for a while. Luckily it wasn't near as bad in the river bottoms coming back as up on the bench so we didn't have to deal with too much wind directly in the face. Attempted to do some faster miles in the middle, but my watch died and legs just don't want to go very fast when it's so cold so I didn't do anything to write home about. But nice to still get the miles in and chat with the good ol' boys (and Kim and Kay too!). |
