I LoVE rest weeks! I love catching up on sleep, not having the pressure of getting miles in, and just regrouping with life. I was SO very sore from lifting on Saturday. It's the sorest I've been in a long time. I took an hour nap on Saturday and slept 9.5 hours that night. Sunday I took another long nap and went to bed early. My muscles just needed to recover I guess. I was totally wiped out. So I slept in and just ran a very slow 3 miles on the home TM at 6.0mph. That was the fastest I could go :) I went to bed again early. I also got 2 new pairs do running shoes in the mail...It's just like Christmas! |
