I was so tired yesterday that I went to bed at 8:45pm.  I felt much better when I woke up this morning.

AM #1

7 miles on the gym TM.  I felt very sluggish and yucky the first 4 miles.  The last 3 miles, I started to pick up the pace just to get the darn run over with!  Then I started to feel better.  67:40.

AM #2

Strength training in my basement.

3x

25 squats with overhead press

10/side single leg hamstring lift

10/side side lunges

10 side line leg lift

15 REAL push ups

Ling stretch and foam rolling.   My left shin just above my SF site has been bugging the last few days.   I took my rolling pin to it this morning.  Now it really hurts.

Karen and I read your last week's posts Sat. Night in our hotel room. We really need to get together for a run outside when the weather gets warmer. Karen needs you to be her running partner when I am gone to Australia. :)

Anyway, so excited to see your mileage building up! You are being very patient and so dedicated in doing all the strengthen training and diligent in rehabbing with the rolling and stretching. Here's to happy and healthy Spring running! Cheers! :)

why does that darn leg do that?!? I hope it gets better throughout the day. I wish I would've gone to bed at 8:45...I probably wouldn't have been so grumpy last night, or this morning :)

Nice work and I'm impressed you pushed through those TM miles. Always seems to take forever to get to 3-4!

Smooth: I need to run with you ladies....you ALWAYS make my day brighter! AND I need to get on the stick and get faster so I can keep up with both of you! I would be MORE than happy to run with Karen while your gone. She is such an amazing lady!!

Rachel: I'm not sure what is going on with my leg. But my patience is running out and frustration is starting to set in. If I just knew what I was doing wrong.... I was grumpy last night too...hence the 8:45 bed time.
