Attempted to skate ski for the first time since 2011.  I'm still absolutely awful. I made it about 2 miles. I'm contemplating selling my skis because I dion't think I'll ever put in the time needed to get proficient and actually enjoy skiing.

Needed to get one last long run in before Surf City in 2 weeks. Given the crap air in SLC, I decided to head down to St George and run the half. Ran a 4.5 mile warmup, ran the half in 1:52:40, then cooled down back to the hotel. Weather was beautiful with sunny blue skies and clean air. St George is becoming one of my favorite places to run. This went much better than I anticipated.  Really torn about what pace to target for the marathon now as it appears I'm in better shape than I thought.
