| In the morning we (Me, morg, coach, and gemachu) ran 3.5 miles at a 7:00 pace. It felt pretty good. Today we did 800 600 400 200 200 800 600 400 200 200. It was pretty good, but I didn't feel good at all. It went 2:16, 1:41, 65, 31, 31, 2:13, 1:40, 63, 29, 29,(One more with Steve 30) These times were good, but Morgan beat me on the fours and a couple twos, and was with me for the others. | AM: Today we did a pretty fast workout. It was 400 400 400 300 300 300 200 200 200 150 150 150. It was fast. My splits were about 62 63 62 47 46 46 32 30 29 21 21 20. It was hard, but it was a good workout. I was about with Morgan on all of them. He beat me on the first two, and was barely ahead on a few others, but I beat him on the last two 150's. | Today was the BYU Invitational. I was running the 3200 and 1600. I got there about 7:30 for the 3200. I got out pretty good, luke took it out really fast, but no one really stayed with him. I dropped into the back of the pack and stayed there for a while. I moved up a little and came through the mile at 4:53. I pushed it and got up with Kyle, and Oliver. I stayed with them and pushed it the last 800. I did a 2:23 last 800 and lost both of them. I was barely able to get the state qualifying time also! So I sat around for about 8 hours and then got ready to run the mile. I started out at 67, 69 but on the third lap my legs started hurting really bad. I did my third lap in 70, but I was dead and couldn't go any faster the last lap. I finished in a 77. It was bad, but I could tell my legs were just too tired. | Add Comment |
