Not being able to locate a chill pill I decided to do the next best thing: get in the pool! There is something about being in water that has a very calming and relaxing effect on me. It seems like forever since I have had a good swim. I need to remember how good it is for my body and spirit.

1 mile swim :)

That sounds like the perfect solution Teena. Nice work! :)

I find the hot tub especially relaxing :).

Don't worry about your legs feeling a little "off". It's the taper phenomenon...weird aches and pains, heavy legs, etc. It happens to everyone! The most important thing is keeping your confidence HIGH - just look over all your training and workouts leading up to this point. You are ready. Try not to think about the race too much - maybe an hour or two a day max. It'll only get your nervous and drive you crazy!!

I agree Teena. Swimming days are quickly becoming my favorite workout days.

Rachelle~

It felt great!

Andrea~

I failed to mention that I did, in fact, get in the hot tub after the swim!!! The best part of it was listening to a group of older gentleman talk about their grandkids. It was AWESOME!! Seriously, very relaxing and just happy-filled! :)

Rhett~

There is just something about being weightless and gliding through water that is very ... what's the word ... ummmm ... AWESOME!!!! :) :) :)

Tim~

Thanks! So good to hear from you!

Allie~

Chillin' in the water is definitely one of my faves. I need to make the time to do it more often! :)

SSF~

Thank you thank you!!! LLL LLL LLL
