6.5 miles. Super happy with this run. Have a new pair of shoes that I wanted to take on a test run. They make me feel fast!!! HA!!! 2 warm up miles, then 3 miles booking it, followed by 1.5 cool down mile. The 3 fast miles splits were: 6:58, 6:55, 6:53. I was super happy, especially considering that 2 of those miles were on dirt (which usually slows me down a bit). I was feeling AWESOME. At least as awesome as one can feel when they are trying to convince themself that they can hold that pace the last mile when they haven't run outside that fast for three consecutive miles for quite some time! On the treadmill, yes, but not outside. Now, I know for many on the blog that is no biggie, but for me it is great! 42 isn't feeling so bad! :-) |
