Wow! Where are you finding the time to log that many cycling AND running miles? I bet you're feeling fit and ready to race. Great job!!!

Oh, I bought my own home use ultrasound machine, to keep my little nagging injuries at bay. I don't have anything bad right now, just very mild achilles tendonitis, but I thought it would be nice to have. Any advice on using it?

Thanks everyone!! You all are going to give me a false sense of extreme awesomeness!!! (I totally don't mind!!! :))

Rhett~

Biking is the easiest way for me to study and exercise at the same time!! Also, I have learned to study certain subjects while I am on the TM if I don't run faster than 8:40ish pace (graphs, pics, diagrams, etc. that are required for certain classes). It is a GREAT way to use my time!!! :)

VERY VERY cool that you bought your own little machine. If you send me some info about it (type, specs, and options it has) I would be happy to let you know what the recommendations for treating achilles tendinopathy (or any other issue you may experience). That is the one thing about ultrasound that is crazy ... so many people use it inefficiently. It is so important to use the right parameters for whatever your goal of the treatment is. That is one reason why sometimes ultrasound can get a bad rap: because clinicians are using it ineffectively. I would be happy to steer you in the right direction. :) :) :)
