5.5 miles: 2.5 in the morning with Smo, with some walking, her foot is not ready. She wanted to test it out before going to cross country tomorrow since she knew she was set back again secondary to her California basketball tournament. Her first couple of games her foot felt fine, but then progressively it got worse and worse and hurting pretty badly by her last game. I was not there. She was there with Ryan. She knew this was a very real possibility before she went to the tournament but she did not want to let her team down. Later in the afternoon we went to the gym so she could get her foot in the pool. It helps her significantly. I ran 3 hard on the treadmill, AP 6:58 and 30 minutes strength training while she did aqua jogging in the pool. |
