6 miles

* PT wanted me to run 5 - 7 miles this evening to see how my body responded. I decided to run 6. Pain increased until mile 3 and then it stayed pretty constant through mile 6. I feel like I can likely run 26.2 miles at this level of pain. I kept thinking, "Relax, enjoy the run." I think with the extra adrenaline and energy of other runners that I might be able to pull this off. :) Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank you so so so much for all of the positive energy. I know this might sound crazy, but I believe it helps tremendously.

Do I really still have to study this evening?? :)

Bib #: 14385

(My bib # adds up to 21 ... isn't that a lucky number????)

SSF ~ I just got home from Stake Primary Leadership...so glad that's over!

Been thinking about you all day. Am so glad to hear such positive attitude and good report about your 6 miler tonight. You are LOVED and I am certain that you will be watched over during your Boston run. I have faith that you can claim the blessings promised you.

And yes, you do have a lucky bib #. Guess what, mine 20564 adds up to 17! How you like that? I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Can't wait to see you!

GOOD LUCK in the morning with the PT visit which should help, and with the packing and stuff. LOVE YOU!!!!

From Smooth on Thu, Apr 15, 2010 at 00:33:13 from 174.23.237.236

Hey are you studying? My feet are sore from wearing heels all night. I ate two chocolate eclair tonight and I think it's helping to soothe the vastus medialis!

I should be studying, but I actually just sat down with Ry for the first time to start planning Boston! :)

Kelli -- In all honesty I can't decide whether I am tough or whether I am a total wimp!!! Both arguments are equally viable!!! :) :) :) (I'll pretend that I am tough ... that one sounds better and makes me feel cool!)

Rhett -- Party time!!! Can't wait to see you and Doone!!!! We are going to all have so so so much fun!!! In fact, I just got home and now have to pack (haven't even started) and leave for the airport in the next few hours! STINK!!! What am I doing on the blog????

Marc -- Can't wait to party with you!!! Don't break your watch!!!! :) :) :) Boston Baby!!!!

Paul -- Thank you thank you thank you!!! You have always been so incredibly optimistic and supportive AND extremely funny!!!! The combination always puts a huge smile on my face!

Rachel -- THANK YOU!!! I am going to enjoy whatever comes my way. It is party time!!! Thank you for all of your help, advice, encouragement and kind words!!!

Tim -- Thanks!!! When are you running it again? Next year???? :) :) :) We all need to party!!! :)

Good luck in Boston Teena. The adrenaline should help push you through the pain. Now go out there and kick some butt!

From Andy on Fri, Apr 16, 2010 at 12:34:59 from 159.212.71.200

You do not need luck. You are in great shape and are incredibly tough so you are going to have a great time. Have a great weekend and enjoy the experience.
