I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

I am married to a supportive and driven husband. Together we enjoy geocaching, hiking, camping, reading and playing games with our three rambunctious children.

Aside from running, I am a homemaker and a Mental Health Therapist. Running has given me the ability to better concert my energies between my family, faith and friends.

Corner Canyon with lots of snow! Easy running and cold. 25 degrees and a wind chill to boot. My skin isnt tough yet.

Ave Twin Peaks with Craig L. Nice run and chat. Overlooking the valley of Salt Lake looked like a city of diamonds this morning. Weather was chilly, but I was perfectly dressed and warm.

Gear: Merino wool base layer (Costco), New Balance windbreaker, Columbia Omni Heat tights, Hot Hand gloves and La Sportiva Helio shoes.

 Filled in for Steve's new running partner who decided to go into hibernation for the winter.  Not quite what I planned, but at least I got a few miles in before going to the gym for some hip and core strength exercises. 3 on the road and 60 minutes of strength training.

6:00AM- View Benchmark. Lots of ice and snow in places which slowed me down. My energy was drained today, I've ran nearly everyday for 2 weeks aside from Sunday's with some harder efforts. Hate being reminded that I'm human;) 

Super cold outside! Felt around 10 in the mountains, breeze was colder maybe.

Gear: Petzl headlamp, Northface Bernie, 32 degree base layer, PI thermal top, PI windbreaker, REI down vest, Mountian Hardeare down skirt over feelece lined Mozella tights, PI N1 shoes.
