Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

Cross training today while being productive. Deep cleaned the house for most of the morning then walked around Salt Lake City the rest of the day. We are on a "staycation" for the next few days. Steve got the week off so we could go to Moab this week while the kids stayed at my sisters. We had big plans to go on a 2 day river rafting tour, bike slick rock, hike, run, and stay in a mini cabin. We ended up postponing the trip to June since we learned it was free National Park weekend and some four wheeling competition. So not waning to fight off the crowds, we elected to spend our time in SLC and Park City. So many things to do- visit the Church/Temple grounds, City Creek Center and see a play then head out to Park City. We watched Little Shop of Horrors at the Rose Wagner Theatre in SLC last night. It was great! 100% of the proceeds went to underprivileged kids for dental care. So fun to be together without the "Three Ringling Brother Circus" following us from behind (aka our kids.) I'm counting 4 miles of cross training for the day for sure:D

That sounds like so much fun! So nice to spend some time the husband without the kids I am sure. You make me miss Utah!

Be sure to spectate the marathon tomorrow! It's good you are feeling better; just in time for the 30k.

Hey Tara - the camera was have is a fake DSLR, its a Casio model that is discontinued. Basically it just has a super-easy-to-use rapid shot feature that allows us to get some good action shots.

Someday when time (and money permits) I'd like to get a real SLR camera and learn how to really use it.
