Did a hill workout on the treadmill. 4.25 miles at 8:00 pace on level 7. Was fairly difficult, but I feel good now. I'm slowly increasing the mileage for these mid-week runs.

Good job Steve you are staying real consistent with your training. Do you feel like you are getting in better shape? I'm excited for this weekend. I'm running a 50 mile relay race with 4 other guys. The legs I'm running should be good. The first one will be around 5.7 miles and the second leg 4.7 miles with some hills. I think our team should do pretty good. We have one stud high school kid and the rest of us are about the same in ability.

Hi Dustin,
Thanks! So far I have run every Monday-Thursday and Saturday since the beginning of the year. It helps that I have been able to keep this streak alive because it motivates me to keep it going. I feel like I'm in a little better shape all the time, but so far I haven't seen any drastic improvements. But now that the ball is rolling and I'm starting to run double digits on the long runs, I think more improvement will happen. The relay sounds fun. I think it's fun to run with other people and have them depending on you. Good luck with it! Don't save any gas for next weekend, so maybe I'll only be behind you by 8 minutes instead of 10. :)
