I currenty live in Southern Utah. My wife Kendra and I have 4 children and no pets. We also own/operate the St. George Running Center a specialty running shoe store in St. George UT.  We also head-up the St. George Running Club.

AM - Met-up with the club for Tues Tempo. Nice solid tin man tempo pace.  Helped pace Amber G. and push her a bit.  We ended up ave 6 min for the 5 miles.

PM - Wanted to run but just was not feeling well.  My immune system is still touch and go.

AM - Slept in and didn't go with the guys.  I just want to make sure my immune system stay strong.  I woke up feeling better this morning went out and did 10 miles on the bike path early.  Nice morning.

 

PM - Went out for an early afternoon run with Kendra for 8 miles and extended it 2 to make it 20 for the day.  Happy I'm feeling better.

AM - No Run. I woke up feeling a bit warn again.  I need to be carefull.

 

PM - Feeling better this evening. Met-up with Aaron, Eric and Clyde for 8 miles w/ track.  Good run and fun joking around a bit.  I could tell my immune system started acting up but I continued the workout.  Did 10x200m @ 31-32.  We had a little bit of rain which was a nice change.  As soon as we were done it started to pour down.

AM - Woke up feeling wasted and run down again.  I'm having a hard time building miles and keeping myself healthy. Feeling pretty weak.

AM - Met-up with the guys this morning for 21. Did the big loop around town, over to Clyde's then started tempo out at 11 miles in by Treasure Valley. I knew it was going to be an interesting morning based on how I've been feeling. I figured I should just go for it to see what I could do, but I knew it wasn't going to be pretty.  After starting I quickly fell off the back of the other guys, like I thought was going to happen (Dave left me).  I was able to keep pushing through till about 6.5 in and just shut it down when my average hit over 6 min pace. The last half mile was not pretty. 

Just cruised it in the rest of the way to finish the 21.  Really happy I got out and just did it.
