"In truth, runners don't race other runners.  They race against themselves: to conquer their wills, to transcend their weaknesses, to beat back their nightmares.  And while a runner can't actually beat himself, he can beat his time. Ran down River Lane in Panguitch, Utah. 8 in 70. I was lazy about getting out today and ended up running at noon. I was a soaked mess.... Serves me right for being lazy. I loved looking at all of the farms, cattle and horses. I should live in a small town!

And my foot feels fine! I don't know how it can go from hurting to walk on it to running 2 days later and it is fine! I think I'm just super nervous about getting injured with St. George coming up. We are now headed to Page for some Lake Powell fun with my stitched up hand. I have to stay out of the water! :( not going to be easy!

Have fun in Powell. I hope you get to do your run in Page. If you can't enjoy the water at least get in some good running time :)

Don't get that thumb in the water. Lily was there not too long ago and you might catch her AIDS.

Glad your foot is better. I've had the same thing happen where my foot hurts when I walk and running doesn't bother it all.

Crazy foot! It hurt me all might but I still ran on it today! Crossing my fingers in hopes it is just some strange pain that will eventually go away! I hate the boot!
