AM:  63F, 88%.  7 @ 8:42 AP.  I think I'm starting to prefer the Saturday LR instead of Sunday...resting on Sunday gets my running week off to a better start (unlike today).  Still targeting Wednesday for a nice long LT workout.

PM:  83F.  5 @ 8:13 AP.  cold air arrives tomorrow!  Kinda sad how excited I get over changes in weather patterns.  And by "kinda," I mean "extremely."

AM:  57F.  8 @ 8:21 AP.  So nice outside!  I just did some dirt/grass plodding but tomorrow it's on!

PM:  60F.  5 @ 7:51 AP.  on the way back I did 8 x 30 sec @ mile pace+, 90 sec jogs.  Felt a little awkward, like a cartoon character whose legs take off before the rest of his body.

AM:  49F.  14 @ 7:07 AP.  Had today circled for a big workout thanks to the front that came through.  7 warmup miles, then 4 x 1.5 @ LT, with quarter mile recoveries.  I averaged 9:13 (6:09 pace) for the 1.5's and the recoveries were 2:05-2:10.  Splits were 9:18, 9:12, 9:12, 9:10.  I didn't leave any gas in the tank today, ran my eyeballs out.  It'll be 6 months before we see 40's again so why hold back?  Anyway, I've run similar workouts faster before but given the direction my training has taken (lots of 8-minute miles) this was very solid.  And it was good to get in a lung-burning, snot-producing, grunting, drooling, wheezing, coughing, hallucination-inducing effort again...last one was probably Cowtown.

PM:  71F.  4 @ 8:26 AP.

AM:  53F.  6 @ 8:47 AP.  Should still be decent tomorrow, so I'll squeeze in a LR.  Next week we're back to crap weather.

PM:  79F.  5 @ 7:51 AP.  6 x 1 min @ 3-5k pace on the way back.

AM:  56F -> 62F.  22 @ 7:11 AP.  Fast Finish long run today.  Ran 17 easy then the last 5 @ 6:26 AP (6:25, 6:23, 6:34, 6:26, 6:20).  Felt really good today.  After 8 weeks of high mileage I finally have a little spring in my step again.  I thought it would only take 3 or 4 weeks, but whatever.
