Buttsweat Towel© season has begun

EZ 4 at Cargill park again.  8:30 pace.  Back home tomorrow.

Snowing.  In Texas.  If Al Gore could see this...  Anyway, I went with a light jacket, skull cap and shorts.  The cotton shorts were a mistake because apparently snow is made of water and they ended up soaked (who knew?)  I probably won't be able to have any more children.  Anyway, I ran briskly for the entire 4 for a 31:45 (7:56 pace).  Got some weird looks from brave neighbors who only came outside briefly to see the miracle of snowfall in Texas but it was fun.

Mostly easy 5.0 with a faster half-mile charge up my favorite hill on the way home.  8:25 pace felt harder than it should have but I guess it was windy and I ran fast yesterday so the legs may be tired.

Day off tomorrow, so it looks like not quite an 80-mile month... If all goes according to plan I should top 120 next month - we'll see!

33:56 - Standard 8-and-a-half minute pace with a 3:50 half-mile up the hill on the way back.

Yet another personal distance record.  Probably ran a little harder than I should have - 58:39 (8:23 pace) - since I was feeling the legs burn in the last mile or two.  The long runs should probably be 9-minute pace for me (or slower) but I can't stand seeing the slow splits as I pass by my landmarks.  Got an 8-miler and a 9-miler planned over the next 2 weeks to work on it.
