68F, 94%, drizzly.  Had a great run with Flatlander, in not-so-great conditions.  I think last time we ran together it was around 80 and muggy, so I guess this was nice by comparison at least.  We did 4 loops of Houston Memorial park, then ran to downtown and back along the bayou trail.  Nice to have good company for a slog-it-out kind of run.  Ended up with 8:26/mile which was a good workout given the heat and muddy conditions.

nice job with the 20-miler. conditions are always great in utah (i'm lying); you should come run here. we'll let you in (don't tell burt).

I heard that allie. Sinner!

How cool that you ran with Flatlander. You should put him in your profile picture.

How fun that you got to run together! When we lived in Houston, I used to take my little 2 yr old to Houston Memorial Park sometimes. They had a little train that you could take your kids on and then we would go to the zoo. I bet the 20 flew by since you had nice company to help the time go by!

Nice run joe. 68 beats the heck out of the 30 we had today. Awesome that you two hooked up for a great 20 miler!

Thanks again for pacing me through the mud. I had a great time. See you at the Trials!

allie - I heard the great Utah running weather peaks around January...see you then.

Burt - no way, I am too conceited to share my profile picture with someone else. Those people in the background of my current picture are lucky I didn't black them out first.

S8 - We like the houston zoo too, and usually take the kids there when we're in Houston.

Rye - I think I'd prefer 30 for running, but 68 for the rest of the day.

JG - thanks, it was a good time.

Flat - enjoyed it, will definitely see you there in January
