53F, 7:56 AP.  Weird week physiologically.  I've been tracking my weight for the last month or so and Monday was the highest reading so far - I think the reason was every muscle in my body was trying to heal from boot camp and there was probably a lot of fluid involved.  Today was the lowest I've recorded, and I think I was either dehydrated or glycogen-depleted or something because this run felt really bad.  I think the moral of the story is to pay better attention to hydration and eating the right things...

I have been tracking my eating with the MyFitnessPal app - it's typical for me not to eat enough and then I don't lose or actually gain weight because my body starts going into starvation mode. When I get my calories where they should be I feel better and my weight drops a bit.

One can also enter in runs/excericse and it will calculate what once's daily needs are including fat, carbs and protein.

It's not really much of a hassle and I haven't found any food that hasn't been in the database. But if it weren't for that, I would have no idea of my daily intake.

That app is pretty helpful. I've used it on and off, and I like it. If nothing else it makes you notice what you're eating (or shouldn't be). Win-win.
