AM:  76F, 85%.  6 @ 8:45 AP.  Still really tired and flat.  I tried a blind half mile pickup without checking pace and guessed 2:55.  It was 3:08.  But I'm still going to try a workout tomorrow with the cooler air coming in.  If I can't recover from a 14-minute workout with 2 full days of 9-minute pace recovery, then I'm not sure what I CAN do.

PM:  3 on the TM with 3 min @ 10 mph.

I saw this earlier, and thought "that's gonna get some comments." I'm surprised.

What's the full workout scheduled for tomorrow?

Why am i here at lunch break?

Strangely, the dog poop picture didn't make the cut back during photo week. But it fits today.

From Jake K on Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 12:29:58 from 199.190.170.31

We'll do photo week again sometime this fall. You are already laying a great foundational base to build off.

i'm tagging this as my favorite FRB post, ever. i'm so grossed out by that fur bally thing.

From SlowJoe on Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 16:53:37 from 45.18.50.53

I should have zoomed in more....a lot of detail missed. Oh well.

Poop

From Jason D on Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 18:05:59 from 68.80.27.222

I first thought it was owl pellets. Then I revised that to "dog who ate owl pellets and crapped them out."

From Dan on Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 18:48:10 from 71.14.25.199

I am worried about the diet.... perhaps more protein is needed.

From SlowJoe on Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 19:19:19 from 45.18.50.53

I think Jason is on the right track. Owl eats mouse. Owl craps mouse. Dog eats owl crap. Dog craps owl crap.

Dan - you have to adjust your analysis - this is sun-dried poop.

From Dan on Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 19:24:17 from 70.193.96.55

Joe, I think I'm still on to something. I better protein diet should create poop that stays moist in the sun. At least for days.

From SlowJoe on Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 19:26:47 from 45.18.50.53

I have so much to learn.

From Dan on Thu, Aug 27, 2015 at 19:29:40 from 70.193.96.55

Hey hey... I'm no Gastoenterologist.. just seen a lot of poop in my days. Not sure how to take that.

From Yasir on Fri, Aug 28, 2015 at 03:52:34 from 99.20.240.157

Nice pic for dog day thanks.

From I Just Run on Fri, Aug 28, 2015 at 08:38:55 from 108.178.73.170

Did you really have to post this picture? I was going to make a very nice complementary post about your running but completely lost my concentration after seeing this picture. Your loss...!

From Bec on Fri, Aug 28, 2015 at 10:01:36 from 70.115.197.197

Ummm.

From SlowJoe on Fri, Aug 28, 2015 at 11:54:01 from 12.182.148.249

Preston and Bec - if you want me to show people the beauty of our state, you have to include everything. At least Yasir appreciates my art.

From Bec on Fri, Aug 28, 2015 at 20:52:20 from 70.115.197.197

Yep. This pic pretty much represents the Texas I see on a daily basis.

From Bob on Sat, Aug 29, 2015 at 12:08:11 from 98.222.16.15

Hmmm...Looks like a petrified mouse family.
