AM:  76F/83% -> 82F/69%.  22 @ 8:20 AP.  Over 3 hours of fun - the last time I ran for 3 hours straight....well, you know...  For this one I made sure I ended up near my house around mile 17, and then did the rest in the neighborhood in case I bonked...really don't have time for a long walk of shame today, but fortunately I was able to trot through the whole thing.  Next up, my daughter's bday party!

PM:  93F.  Took the dog out for 3 in the neighborhood.  I did a progressive run: 10:09, 9:53, 9:24.  The dog did not get tired today.

Happy birthday to your daughter, and congratulations on the long run. Just checked and you are comfortably at the top of the mileage board after a fantastic week. We need to shut it down before somebody else gets any ideas. I think I had better weather than you this morning, not sure why, but we are getting a cool band of something here.

Yeah! Happy Birthday to her! Great run and great week. Sometimes we all trot.

Slick - I pretended I was running my 50-miler this morning. Wasn't too bad!

Thanks Flat - I ordered twice as much pizza as was necessary for the party, so if you get hungry, we're only 3 hours away.

Thanks Dan, glad to almost be through it with no mishaps.

Big cap to a big week. I'm pretty sure that's a PR by 8-10 miles. Happy birthday to your daughter.

great job with that progressive effort. you just go and drop your pace by 30 seconds/mile like it's nothing.

From SlowJoe on Sun, Aug 02, 2015 at 09:28:09 from 45.18.50.53

Jason - thanks. Definitely the biggest week I ever plan on having (past and future)

Allie - I'm an exceptional athletic specimen, so that kind of thing is no big deal to me, really.

Your mileage graph for the year looks awesome now.

From SlowJoe on Tue, Aug 04, 2015 at 11:18:19 from 12.182.148.249

The entire scale for the y-axis changed. That's how you know you're doing it right.
