78F start, 80F finish, S 14-21 mph.  Direct sun for the last 9-10 miles made it a tough one, kind of an oven effect out there.

7:58 AP -- 8:14 pace out (+250 ft) and 7:42 pace back home (-250 ft).  Probably an even effort given the elevation change.  I ran the hilliest route I could find out here which is mostly dirt roads, so a nice challenge.

Great run, good job! I could never do that in that temp with direct sun ... You are running really strong!!

I don't know how you do it! I am a wimp!! I ran 8 in hot sun (not as hot as you)..it was so tough and I wasn't running miles in the teens! Nice work!!! When is your next race?

Ha ha...I ran about the same distance and in similar heat (maybe more humidity) but my results are somewhat embarrassing compared to Joe's. Nice run Joe...You're an animal!

JG - thanks, you can get used to anything i guess

S8 - not sure about the next race, maybe not anything until late September -- there's a local 10K I'd like to run. In Texas we sorta hibernate in the summer like y'all do in winter.

IJR - I can guarantee my HR was a lot higher than yours though!

You love punishing yourself, don't you! Good pace in those conditions!

Very nice in the heat! This sounds eerily like my Saturday morning run.
