80F, SSW 16-26 mph.  This was the low!  I guess with the temp hitting 107 yesterday and forecasted for 109 today, there wasn't much hope for a cool morning.  I was planning on recovery miles anyway so it worked out.  8:29 AP.

That has got to be difficult! I know when it reaches the 80's here in Idaho Falls its nasty and it is low humidity to boot. At least your hacking it out!

Yikes! Those are some scary, crazy temps! Nice recovery run

Wow! I can't imagine running in that heat! How do you keep your miles up? Do you run at 3am? ha!

From flatlander on Sat, May 28, 2011 at 13:53:00 from 76.31.26.153

I think those heavy winds may actually be worse than the heat. Good job though.

Wow. I remember you running in the desert in this stuff and you survived! You should've been here today: 66 degrees and overcast--obscenely humid but pretty comfortable nonetheless!

Yep - it was a warm one. Not that hot down here though. Only 75 at 5:30 am! Nice job in this heat.

From Burt on Sat, May 28, 2011 at 16:22:07 from 206.19.214.144

That's hotter than AZ. You win.

Rye - no problem, just clear out a room for me at your house in Idaho and I'll move in for the summer.

JG - thanks, definitely won't be running in the afternoon anytime soon.

S8 - it is tough for sure, but the mild winters make up for it. Plus Rye just offered up his home for the summer.

April - sounds nice. I keep having to remind myself this is way better than Iraq.

DH - rare day when our morning is more miserable than yours!

Burt - thank you, that's all I ever wanted.

From SlowJoe on Sun, May 29, 2011 at 12:08:10 from 184.79.24.255

Flat - whoops missed you on my reply. Creative route planning can minimize the wind to some degree but it certainly is getting tiresome...
