54F, low wind.  The clouds were even blocking the sun today, perfect...

7:29 AP.  My calves were a little tight from racing in the flats, but I wasn't going to waste one of the last nice days we'll have, so I picked up the pace early today.  Splits were 8:02, 7:39, 7:46, 7:40, 7:36, 7:35, 7:28, 7:32, 7:21, 7:15, 7:16, 7:12, 7:16, 7:06.

Jealous of the weather! Nice miles and pace a day after a race!

Joe,

You seem amazingly stronger in your runs than when I first met you just a few months ago! Keep up the good work you continue to inspire me.

I guess anything over a 7:20 is a slow mile?

From SlowJoe on Mon, May 16, 2011 at 21:22:38 from 184.79.24.255

April - yep I will be treasuring it until October

Thanks JG & Tracy

IJR - thanks, not sure how I did a marathon at that pace, I was pretty tired after this run.

Burt - yeah that is the arbitrary threshold right now. It's loosely based on something I saw Sasha post once about goal marathon pace for the fast/slow designation, but actually anything in the 7's still feels fast to me. I wish I just had the simple "total distance" profile.
