64F, low wind, maybe 8-10 mph.  7:55 AP.  I'm doing a 5K on Saturday, so I ran easy with 6 x 1-minute at 5K pace spinkled in randomly.  As hard as those 1-minute intervals felt, I'm not real optimistic of a PR on Saturday.  I've just felt really sluggish and slow-pokey since the marathon.  Maybe the 5K will wake me up a little.

I'm going to predict a PR...Based on everything else you've accomplished in a short time I wouldn't dare bet against you...! I bet those "turbo" legs come through for you!

I would not worry about feeling sluggish - when the horn goes off your legs will know what to do!

I think a pr is due as well. You're much faster this year than you were last year, and though you're still in recovery mode, I bet you will rock it.

Nice miles this week ... nothing like a 5k to wake your legs up ... if you want to PR you will ... just run faster than your last one! lol

I like your philosophy JG, I think I'll try that in my next race!

IJR - thanks, I guess you never know..

DH - my legs are in love with 8:15 pace so I hope they can two-time it

Thanks Tracy, hopefully the competitive juices will make up for other defecits

JG - oh, is that what I need to do, run faster? running is so confusing!
