Some pictures from the kids' run on Saturday...

Keira (3 yr old) made it half a mile with some assistance from mommy.

Elle (4 yr old) on the homestretch of the 1-mile race, keeping an wary eye on the strange giant blue bear (not pictured) who was cheering people in.

You know...I enjoy running but I don't think I'm ever as happy as Keira and Elle look when I run... :(

Very, very cute. Reminds me of when my daughter was 3 and she ran her one and only kids k. She was freaked out by all the people cheering her on.

When he says assistance from Mommy that means that Mommy had to carry her for most of that half mile. When she asked to be carried, I picked her up and walked. She said, "Mommy, run faster." I'm paid the price for letting her eat all of those kit-kats.

IJR - same here, I think I always have a look of imminent death on my face when I run.

Thanks JG

Dale - yeah, can't tell whether she liked the cheering or was scared by the bear

Danielle - you should have gone faster!

Thanks April

Cool pictures. Blue bears don't seem as scary as Easter bunnies.
