61F, wind S 15-22 mph.  Plan was for 7 easy, 10 @ GMP.  Actual was 7 easy, 4 @ GMP, 6 tempo.  I love that I was able to pull this off with a temperature above 60 (barely above 60, but whatever).

7 easy - AP 8:06 -- 8:26, 8:00, 8:10, 8:06, 8:00, 7:55, 8:03

10 hard - AP 7:07 -- 7:23, 7:27, 7:27, 7:20, 7:08, 7:09, 7:01, 6:47, 6:46, 6:42

Overall AP 7:31.

Unlike my last long run, the last 10 here were overall neutral/unaided.  My legs were pretty fresh for this run with a couple easy days prior to today.  I think I have been underestimating how important that is, and instead putting all the importance on temperature.  My taper (which begins....NOW) should take care of that.  No complaints from my achilles either, feeling good!

Best news of all is no injuries going into the taper. Have never seen anybody get injured during a taper other than me.

Thanks Burt - what's with the 92 all the time?

Thanks Tracy, April and Dale

Flat - no injuries is probably what I'm most excited about

Your quantcast was sitting at 92. And 92 happens to be my favorite number. 92! 92! 92!
