61F, wind S 15-20.  My hips are still kinda sore from Sunday, and I didn't like the temperature or wind so I blew off Tempo Tuesday and just did some solid aerobic base miles.  8:07 AP.  The wind was only moderate by our standards, and I was able to run sub-9s on the direct headwind legs; when the wind is bad I can't even do that, but still not a good day to try and hit any specific paces.  I will make up for it on Thursday, it's supposed to be nicer.

Hey Turbo Joe,

Your wind is like my hills...hard to keep an even pace...Keep it up!

Sounds like a good run to me. Nicely done.

There you are, back on top of the mileage board! Give me a few hours(c'mon Vanessa take a nap...)

At least your temps are nice. 5-20 mph wind would be so much worse if it was, say, 20 degrees. Sometimes you just have to do with it. NIce miles.

I think we got your wind this morning, hopefully it left Abilene by now.

IJR - it's all good, as long as we all have something to use as an excuse

Thanks DG

April - funny thing is I count Sunday as last week (use a monday-sunday week) when I plan my runs. But I'll take it!

Tracy - yeah I might be on the treadmill on a day like that!

Flat, yep, pretty tame here this morning
