Aw, man.

X-rays are definitely inconclusive with stress fractures. That's a long wait to get an MRI. I hope it's nothing major.

Bummer. Sorry Joe.

From Drew on Wed, Jan 06, 2016 at 13:39:30 from 24.73.66.122

I'm really sorry to hear that - your post last week after nailing that workout was inspiring.

Crap. Still hurts today? On the bright side....stress fracturex heal faster than rendons to be quite honest and then the bone is bulletproof...

Hope it goes away quick. :(

From Dan on Wed, Jan 06, 2016 at 18:49:20 from 71.72.159.140

Sorry Joe. I hope after the MRI you get news that it will be a quick recovery.

dh - yeah, tell me about it. I had to take a 6:45pm appointment just to get in that early.

Drew, I really appreciate that. The timing seems extraordinary cruel. Why don't I ever get injured when I don't give a crap?!

April, yeah, so far every day is the same despite 2.4g/day of vitamin I... I guess that's how I know it's different - the old tricks are useless.

Tom/Jake/Dan - thanks guys.

Wishing you the best, Joe.

Rats, just saw this. Can you pass the "hop test"? I had almost the exact same pain a few years ago and after a few week layoff it hasn't bugged me since. I'm hopeful you'll be back at it soon.

From Derunzo on Thu, Jan 07, 2016 at 19:10:41 from 98.229.177.205

The friggin' timing on this one is lame. Sorry Joe.

From SlowJoe on Fri, Jan 08, 2016 at 06:51:39 from 107.77.80.64

Russ - hop test is a big fail. The more weight on it, the worse it feels... My big hope at this point is that it is just a stress reaction and will repair itself quicker than an actual fracture.
