Rest day today.

Weather is looking pretty decent for OKC.  Maybe a 10-12 mph wind but nice temperature, and it's looking like it may even be a crosswind for most of the course.  If my hip will just continue to do ok once I get it moving, that 1:45 should be mine...

10mph ain't nothing but a breeze considering what you are used to! A 1:45? Don't sell yourself short--I suspect it will be faster than that! How is your hip? How is your wife's ITB?

10 mph? Bah!

1:45? You can do that in your sleep!

Thanks ladies. Hip is the same, it's just really quirky (shooting pain) after I've been sitting or standing still for a minute and seems to be ok after "warming up" by walking for a minute. It's weird. Danielle's knee feels ok now so she's gonna try running tomorrow and she did some strengthening exercises last night, thanks for the tips.

Looking good, glad to hear the favorable weather report. Hope your hip improves.

Good luck, Joe! You're looking great! I hope both of you are feeling better soon.

Lots of stretching, maybe soak in a bath of epsom salt or ice water. That should help.

Thanks guys - Vinh, I will look into that. It does respond well to ibuprofen so maybe there is something inflammed like a tendon or something.
