My 4th super-early run this week.  I'll quit mentioning it after this, I'm just so surprised I've been consistently doing it, so to speak.  Anyway, 4 miles @ 8:24 pace, all easy miles for the first time since Sunday.

Tomorrow I get revenge on the 12-miler that crushed me 2 weeks ago.  I'm dorking it up and bringing a hydration belt w/ Gatorade and a Gu, as well as carb loading today.  You can lauugh, I know it's overkill for 12 miles but I'm paranoid now.

Nah, not overkill at all! You will do fine, RELAX and have fun! How is the weather?

Get some rest soon, then you will be able to keep getting up, right? I fins I do really well for about a month, then it gets hard. BUT by then it is habit and I just drag my butt out of the warm bed anyway!

GOOD LUCK TOMORROW, I am cheering for you from Utah.

Thanks Kelli, should be pretty good weather - a little breezy so I'll have to run into the wind going home but I think it's going to be like that at my race next month so it's good practice, I guess. Should be a fun run.

At least you will be a well-fueled dork! :) I think you're going to do great!

Thanks, there's no one to laugh at me but the cows. And I'm pretty sure they do.

From seeaprilrun on Fri, Mar 05, 2010 at 18:59:45 from 68.103.242.46

They do. I know because I've been laughed at by them as well as the llamas, and some dogs, and on occasion, a deer. I've even been chased by a killer goat that was laughing at me. Gotta love country-road running!!!

Thankfully all the vicious goats must be penned up around here. I was just telling Kelli on her blog how the cows all stare me down - every single one. Except for one particular farm where they run away like I am herding them.

KILLER GOAT???? I think I have only been chased by a killer chihuahua!
