Day off today, great way to start a taper!  I will update my blog with 2012 goals and stuff after Houston; obviously a lot is contingent on how I do there.

As far as my racing schedule, that is completely up in the air.  I am separating from the military in a couple months and don't have a job yet (despite my best efforts), so I have no idea where we'll even be living.  Mostly looking in TX, but I am chasing a couple opportunities in OK and KS too.  We'll see what happens over the next couple months.

Hey Joe..... The west is a great place.... course you would have to get rid of that orange shirt... By the way, what do you do for a living?

You may try the world's oldest and noblest profession of prostitution.

Where in Kansas? Kansas! Kansas! Kansas!

From SlowJoe on Tue, Jan 03, 2012 at 11:45:16 from 132.3.53.68

Rye - I'm a B-1 WSO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weapon_Systems_Officer). No real equivalent in the civilian world, which is why I got my MBA. Hoping for something better than entry level, but who knows...

Burt - I am already doing that...I need a day job though.

April - Salina. It's actually the one I most want right now (full-time ANG, can't get better than that) but there's only 1 position and it's pretty competitive. Here's hoping anyway!

Good luck with the job hunt !!!

Just curious...does SlowJoe's Girl know about your "old and noble profession" ... :-)

Good luck with the job hunt! I would hate to think of the scary mileage you would put up if you were out of work for a little bit. :-) (At least that is what I would be doing.)

I've been to Salina! That's where I met April and the fam!

Good luck with the taper. And good luck with the hunt for a civilian job!

From SlowJoe on Tue, Jan 03, 2012 at 21:44:42 from 74.195.74.62

IJR - uh, yeah, how do you think we met?

dh - yeah the mileage would get a little out of control for sure.

allie - consider it considered!

Tracy - thanks - I wish finding a job was as easy as running!
