71F, cloudy, S 14 mph.  8:10 AP.  I had to be at work unreasonable early today, so I got in this run at lunch.  Fortunately it's a cool day today.

I also forgot my Garmin (left it at home) so I mapped it after the fact and I got pretty darn close to my planned 6, although I had an idea of how far to go beforehand since I've run this route before.  I always see people talk about how liberating it is to run without the Garmin, but I hate it.  Hate it.

Haha I find it liberating but I like to know how far I went. It's the "how fast" that I don't always need to know. Of course, it always sucks to have the awesome garminless run where you are flying and you will never know those splits. Never!

Rye - exactly, a lot of people put a lot of thought and work into the GPS constellation, why waste it?

April - I knew I wasn't flying (can't seem to get my pace going after my race yet) but I would hate that! I need to know!

Thanks for the meteoroligical heads up. Peeked ahead and sure enough we have some 60s and 50s coming in. I'm going to save myself.
