69F, low wind.  A big storm came in last night and dropped a much-needed 1 inch of rain--it's the most we've had since April.  That made for an awesome cool morning.

We did Insanity last night after 4 days off so my legs were a bit tired but the cool weather cancelled it out and I ran a nice 7:53 AP.  I almost wore a shirt today; turns out I should've because it was a bad bug day - I had at least a hundred gnats stuck to me after the run (new PR).

I saw the 69F and thought I was on the wrong Blog. I feel like I need to congradulate you for having the cool weather (I don't know why). We sure need rain down here! I'm a little slow but I got the gnat PR after the second time I read it :-)

Hey FAST JOE! Nice run! Running after it rains is my favorite time to run! Glad it cooled down a bit for you. Sorry about the bugs! Move to Utah! :)

Still 0 miles on your Kinvaras? Are you going to try them out soon?

From SlowJoe on Tue, Jun 21, 2011 at 11:00:29 from 132.3.53.68

IJR - yeah I should have specified "gnat PR." The ccol weather is definitely a great accomplishment for me.

S8 - Burt said they would never allow me to enter Utah.

DH - I just got em this weekend -- on Thursday I'm only doing 6 miles so that will be the test drive.

No Utah for you! Shaun T would not approve!

Very jealous of your temps. Was glad to get the rain here but I think it makes the running worse. Good job on the run.

Burt - Shaun T would not be allowed into Utah either. He cursed at the end of pure cardio!

Flat - yeah it dries up pretty quick here. By the time I ran, there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

Tracy wanted to curse when we got to the top of the mountain, but she showed great restraint.
