29F, SE 14 mph.  Still sick, but felt decent enough to run this morning.  I ended up doing a harder effort, 7:19/mile average, and right when I stopped it hit me like a ton of bricks.  Feel like crap.  Now I feel a little dumb for running nearly 2-and-a-half hours in sub-20 windchill with a chest cold.  Not dumb enough to regret it though.  Or maybe too dumb.

7:31, 7:38, 7:35, 7:36, 7:34, 7:40, 7:27, 7:30, 7:30, 7:29, 7:32, 7:04, 7:12, 6:59, 7:06, 7:04, 7:00, 6:58, 7:07, 6:39.

You can probably tell where I turned around and started running with the wind.  Anyway, I tickled marathon pace most of the way home but never really quite got there.  Gonna rest, get healthy, and keep it easy this next week while still increasing mileage.

Starting the week off with a bang! great job and you are looking to be getting right back to your old self. If you end up running in Abilene I will so be there!

Solid 20. You may be dumb, but clearly not stupid!

Great run. BTW, it's not that we're dumb, runners just lack an imagination. ;)

April - thanks, still not quite there but closer now. Looks like I will be moving to OK (unfortunately), so I don't think I'll make it to the Abilene KS race. Probably OKC 2 weeks later.

Dan - yes. yes, you are right.

IJR - starting to get over it, I think.

Neil - yeah I tried to just imagine myself running 20 miles but it wasn't the same.

Gee, glad you were able to "work things out" and get in a couple of slow ones on Sunday morning.
