Surprised how fast, 55mins. Took over an hour last week. My 18wk marathon program officially starts tomorrow so am looking to hit the ground running.

New shoes, new gear, no signs of injury so am optimistic at the moment.

am averaging around 15-20 miles a week at the moment which I will step up and up from here...

Treadmill at GYM followed by workout. First official "task" from my marathon schedule. Feels like I've really started something, despite the measly mileage.

only 17 weeks and 5 days to go...

didn't even binge on chocolate or cakes afterwards. ;)

Hi sinj, and welcome to the blog!

I'm training for Rotterdam on April 15. I tried for London, but got rejected through the ballot. Are you in the UK? Or did you get in through the international tour operator? Anyway, good luck with your training! London marathon will be a blast :).

Running. On Boxing Day. I must be mad. First longer run for a while. Up hill and down dale. Quite hard, but trying out my new gear is good.

Merry Christmas :)

quick run while at my Mum and Dad's over Christmas. Trying out my new running lycra - feeling very secure in my masculinity(!)

Back from our Christmas trip and a quick evening lap to prepare for the bigger one tomorrow!

Runs are getting longer! The positive side was that I had my lovely new running gear for Christmas.

The down side was that I ran in freezing wind and rain for half the run. If I can get round this, I can get round anything.

First time I've properly stretched after for ages and it really helps the next day. Stating the bleedin' obvious to you professionals I know :)
