Yeah- Monday! When I got up this morning I was dragging, but after the 6 miler w/ Buff & Heather everything looks brighter! I'm so glad its a new week and fresh start.  I had a rough week last week- lots of stress (much of it self induced) mostly from saying YES to too many church & PTA resposibilities. My miles suffered for it.  Now this week I'm going to take charge of life a bit more and not dish out my "Yes" so quickly.  Today I'm just staying home and catching up on housework and mortgage work that didn't get much attention last week.

Sounds like your Super Saturday was a success! We had our Primary program yesterday and I ran into the Primary pres in the grocery store today -- she had a remarkable lilt in her step! Nice to have things over with. Great run today. I hope to keep increasing my distance and pace so I can beg a few friends to start running with me. ;o) Or find someone who's just starting out like me.

BTW - Yes, the two girls in my picture are our 2 youngest. Hayley is 15 months (and into everything!) and Audrey is 6 1/2 months (and trying to survive having a 1 year old sister). My 6 year old wasn't willing to stand still for the picture. ;o)

Great job! Very inspiring that you are going to start using the power of "no" more often. I need to practice that too!

What a good mommy--on the PTA and everything...

Thanks guys. Yeah- Laura- the Super Sat. was stressful 'cause there's currently no enrichment leader or much of a committee (I'm 2nd counselor) So I undertook it by myself and we had 6 projects. Crazy of me, I should have enlisted more help. It was also a week I had committed to help at my kids' school too much too! Ah well. Learned alot and it was a success, got lots of compliments- and everyone was happy with their finished projects- heck I even made a couple cool things for my house- but GLAD ITS OVER!

Anyway- congrats again on the race & your daughters are beautiful!

Well I hope you are enjoying a little quieter week. Sometimes we let things start to take over from time to time and it's good to step back now and agian! Well I'll try and check in on you in the next week and see how the runs are going. I'm planning on getting some runs in but also going to try and use this to rest the planter tendon that I asked a doc, a podiatrist in at work about last night. He recommended rest ice and ibuprofen. Nothing I didn't know but also the rest thing is hard! Keep up the 6'ers for me too! Aloha!

You're from NC? Cool! James' parents live in Raleigh. They love it there. Sounds like it has great weather (of course, they moved from Michigan--brrr!)and it is growing really fast.

This will be our first trip out there, so I know nothing about NC at this point. Do you have any big plans for the holidays?
