Used my massage gift certificiate today.  It was AWESOME! I feel so great.  My body is recovering well- just barely stiff today.  I just hate looking at my ugly blistered toes.  I think Heather & I are going to run a few miles tomorrow.

Wow--I'm impressed that you are going to run again already after you very first marathon. I am also impressed that you are feeling well enough to get a massage. James keeps asking me to massage him, but no matter how softly I try, it just hurts him too much!

Clyde is the same way as James. You can't even touch his calves or he screams out in pain! You are tough!

From Michelle on Tue, Oct 09, 2007 at 18:07:09

I agree! But I'm sure the massage was just delicious and will help a lot! You are recovering great, very impressed!

Was it you or Mik'l that mention Painters half in Jan.? When and where is that course? I'm thinking about something sooner than Moab to keep my training in perspective, and Jan. has the added benefit of keeping me more in line through the holidays.... but right now it's just a thought!

Hey Ladies- Well maybe James & Clyde are a bit more sore than me because they can KICK MY TRASH! J/K. Really a 4 hr. marathon didn't tear me up TOO bad, but trust me, I'm still recovering! Michelle- I think Painter's in Jan. would be SOOO fun for us all to do together! Its put on by the city of St. George so if you go to www.sgcity.org you can probably get a reg. form and info. I've run the Painter's 5k in the past and it was all on paved trails. I think the 1/2 is the same. Count me in for sure!! It'll keep us focused during the upcoming "stuff-our-face-a-days"... I mean holidays....
