Great run this morning w. H around her neighborhood inc. Foremaster.  Felt great! Cruised right up foremaster, great energy.  Last week was my BD and I celebrated by registering for the Marathon.  Considering I've been running for 7 yrs. (off & on) I should have reg. a long time ago! I'm pumped.  I want to lose 10 lbs by June 1st.  Realize that's ambitious, but if I shoot for about 2 lbs a week I should get close.  I'm at my heaviest and its depressing! Clothes that were lose last summer are snug. So I'll be logging my weight everyday to keep me in line & accountable.

Starting 128.8- goal 119

Happy Birthday! Congratulations on signing up for the marathon. How exciting! The parallels between us continue . . . I just turned 30 a couple of weeks ago--that's what got me running. My best friend signed me up to run in a race for my birthday present and then told me to start training (He he). AND, I have just decided to start seriously trying to loose weight (now that stress is significantly down--concert is OVER). I am about 130 and I want to be 120 at least. Tomorrow I go to weightwatchers. Let me know if you find anything that works really well. BTW 2 pounds a week is a lot! You really are likely to loose muscle at that rate. Don't starve yourself--and good luck.
