77 degrees and clear skies today...something we don't see a lot of in Seattle in late September. But I will take it. More of the same tomorrow and Wednesday.

Ran 12 miles up and down the East Lake Sammamish Trail. It was truly a gorgeous day with the added benefit that everything felt great as well.

Had to drop my wife's car off at the mechanic to get it's 60k checkup so I ran from there to work. I will run back later this afternoon to retrieve it.

Cool this morning but sunny. It's supposed to get warm again this afternoon.

As planned, ran back 8 miles to retreive my car.

Had another fantastic workout today...two in a row. 2x2miles @5:05 with a 3:30 rest in between the 2-mile repeats. Each of the four miles was in exactly 5:01. Not only did I come in under the target time, but I was exactly consistent. Feeling good.

10+ easy miles this morning ahead of a series of storms that will bring Noah-like precipitation to Seattle. I knew the great weather couldn't last.

10+ miles this morning very early due to some early work meetings. First half was greeted with some wonderful, very light sprinkles and 52 degree temps. It felt great. The last half was more of the steady drenching rain. Oh well.

Ahhhh...the rain is back in full force. A very wet speed workout. I did a six-mile tempo cutdown workout. Target was 3m@5:18, 2m@5:10, 1m@5:02.

I had to do these pretty early this morning and I woke up with a minor cold which brought with it some congestion so i didn't know what to expect. I hit 5:21, 5:14, 5:20, 5:12, 5:12 and 5:05. A bit slow but I was pretty happy. It was a good and full week of training.
