A very hot day today. 91 degrees and winds of 20-35mph by the time I got to my workout today. Workout was 20min tempo run at 5:16 pace. Covered 3.81 miles in that time which translates to 5:14s. So I hit it but it took ever last bit of effort. Then I jogged for two miles and then did 6x150m strides in 24-25 seconds. By the time I was done I looked like a salt shaker despite drinking 36 ounces of water from start to finish. The cool down was in the shade of Mill Pond road. It felt very good. |
