I met Jun early before work to run VB via Ann's trail in Draper. It was cool at the start, but once we got going the temps felt great the whole run. There was a slight nip in the air though this morning, so Fall is just around the corner. The moon was just a sliver and had an orange color. Awesome. We were both feeling sluggish, so we didn't push it much at all and we had several stops on the way up so we were slow, but we didn't care. Neither one of us had a watch, so I'm not sure what our time up was.

The run down was fun. We saw an incredible sunrise between Lone and Box Elder peaks. The sun was orange/red from all of the haze in the air and it was pretty cool to see it. Nothing exciting on the way down. We just put in in cruise control and chatted the whole way down.

How did you come up with 8.5 miles? That trail has never been more than 7.8. Padding your stats nancy?

I have actually been getting 8.5 the last few times I wore my watch. I'll do it again soon to make sure.

That's weird. Doing that exact route I've never gotten 8 before.

From Scott Wesemann on Wed, Aug 15, 2012 at 10:29:36 from 66.232.64.4

I used to get 7.8 everytime and then the last few times I wore my watch it was 8.5. We have been doing that different trail on the connector, but that doesn't makes sense. Maybe I am confused. I'll run it again soon with my watch.

This was the last time you and I ran it without doing any add-ons at the end or middle.

Part of the problem is that you are using the desktop version to download your runs and that thing is a massive pile if crap, like the one you dropped today near the top.

From Scott Wesemann on Wed, Aug 15, 2012 at 11:06:24 from 66.232.64.4

I figured it out! It is actually 7.85 not 8.5. Hahaha. I am not sure where I got 8.5. I went back and looked at my previous times with the Garmin and it is 7.85. Duuuurr!! I must be tired. Funny.
