No run today. I worked indoors on some cross training to loosen things up without putting too much pressure our weight on the calf. My left calf is really sore. I decided that I better take a few days off and get it feeling better. This morning there is no way that I could run....this afternoon it is feeling somewhat better. I have got to get this thing feeling better. I was feeling really good about the half marathon on the 17th. Based on my training I know that I have a PR coming in this run if the calf will heal up.

Nurse that baby up. It's best to catch it early and it will heal much quicker. The reason my hammy is so jacked up is that I hurt it last January and ran on it all year... and then one day it just said enough!

If you don't already have one- you should get a "stick" from Steve at the store. It works great to rub down those calves.

Thanks Clyde, I have been working it over with the stick today...feeling a bit better, just not where I want it to be 1 1/2 weeks before a race.
