Well I got up this morning and said no way this body is going to run. Went to the Games to cheer people at the finish. Got sucked in to at least walking the race. PR'd for a 10K at 46:43. I just went out slow and decided to just stay steady to keep the legs warm and when pain comes go to the walk. I did not stop and just kept a steady 7:30 pace for the entire run.

I am very happy with the time given the circumstances of being absolutely trashed from the marathon. The games are a lot of fun. Not so serious and that made it all worth it.

Wow, Scott. Congratulations and give some of whatever you're taking because it's working. You're all about PRs the last few weeks. BTW we ought to train together a bit.

Are you kidding me? You are AMAZING! I seriously can barely walk, I don't think I could even walk a whole 10k right now though. That's amazing, it goes to show you what great shape you are in, , , , (and a little bit crazy in the head too, jk :) )

Amber, yes crazy in the head. After thursdays Half I should be admitted to the funny farm!

I have to admit this morning when I woke up I could barely make it to the bathroom without falling over. It is amazing what the body can do sometimes....I guess it really wanted to be in Snow Canyon this morning.

You are running a half on Thursday?
