I really need new shoes, 500+ miles on them now! Good little run on pipeline with Bill, Jayden and Angie. I felt alright for the first 3 miles, then my calves and arches were sooo tight and hurt so bad. At the turnaround I tried stretching out a bit. I stepped on rocks in the same spot where my foots been hurting for a while like 5 times consecutively. Ooooohh that hurt. Then around mile 8 I like hit a wall or something. It was a bit odd. Now my legs feel like I ran a 15 miler but it was only 10? I'm confused and I think my legs are too. 10 miles usually is the norm but apparently my legs think otherwise! Maybe it's because of the taper for state. Or maybe the pace was faster than I think it was? Idk. Gotta shoot that mileage back up though so that I'm ready for Great Southwest.
