Sasha was happy with my race..considering I'm still on the mending end of having had a baby and it was my 7th and it was 9 degrees at the start of the race. Even having lived in Moscow, Russia..which is a really cold place..he says that was the coldest race he's ever done. Our kids did great..except William cried but he is two and is prone to temper tantrums if we even turn the vacuum cleaner on when he isn't in the mood for it. William was 3rd, Jacob was 1st!!, Joseph was 2nd, Julia chicked the field and was first overall, Jenny was 5th but they started the race funny and she missed the start, Benjamin was 3rd against 12 year olds! Great Kids!!!!!
Despite being exhuasted when I got home..after a nap..and with some help from the kids..we had a great Thanksgiving....Probably the best part of all was that we were all very very very very very very vey THANKFUL for a heated house. The gym that we did the award ceremony in wasn't even heated...The kids and I were frozen for the whole time. When I got home I put a sweatshirt, hat and scarf on and cuddled up in bed for an hour and then I finally defrosted!!!
