| | Warmed up a mile on the turf, then did 3 strides and 2×400 at 2mile pace with a really easy recovery lap in between. Then 3 starts and finished up mileage. 10min of abs and a super cold ice bath. Race tomorrow, hopefully all goes well. |

Davis Supermeet (2 Miles) 00:12:24 | | Well we got to Davis and it was hailing so me and Gan set up camp inside Davis since we weren't running til like 5:40. Watched the mile, chilled for a while longer, played some speed (which I won) and finally warmed up a mile. We were doing drills on the turf and the weather went from being chilly but not bad to snowy and windy and cold. By the time the race started the snow and wind had backed off though so that was good. First mile I stayed right on pace and just kept right next to this girl from Davis, then she pulled ahead of me and the next three laps I went super slow. Last lap I got back on pace and had a solid kick. Overall I felt there mentally the whole race so now I just need to match that physically and I'll be set. Nice job to everyone who raced today also just in case you're not aware it's #NationalRoastWatsonWeek so prepare your roasts accordingly ;) |

| | Went to the SLC temple with Gan, Watson, and Guppy then we cruised on over to Davis to watch the boys. Did a mile then jogged around some while we waited for the 1600 after watching that we went out on a real run. I absolutely love that area even if we ran up a hill for a super long time. Watched the rest of the races then hurried home for Watson because we love her. Shout out to all the boys because they raced awesome today, and they invited us to Pizza Pie which is always a quality time. And happy birthday to Granny Gan (she's gettin old ;) |

| | Went home during 2nd and slept for 2hrs which was nice since I haven't been sleeping well all week. For our workout today we did a mile warm up on the turf then 6×400 at mile pace and 3×200 all out with 2:30 rest between each. We had a real struggle pacing, the wind threw us off a bit but splits were 84, 79, 82, 81, 80, 80 and I don't remember the 200s but they were quick. Afterwards my body was shot so.our cool down was ultra slow. Shout out to the crossing guard who gave us Easter candy and to Riley for all the food. Unshoutout to Collin, because, as Gan says, "do we really need a reason?" ;) |
