Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

9 miles out & back on Murdock canal trail, 7:45 pace.  Last mile in 6:11.  Never felt in a groove the entire run...running feels kind of forced for me every single day lately.  I'm in a rut and I'm okay with that.  Just so glad I'm not running a fall marathon because I have no mojo!

It is dark in the mornings now!  I think I am usually distracted because I rarely run by myself but yikes when did it go from light to pitch black.

hey where were you? close to me if you ran south from orem :D sorry about you mojo. that is how I started getting bad was my runs felt forced and my body was not liking it then my mind. you probably need a few weeks off totally from running but somehow I don't see you doing that. but if it helps a very elite male runner in the seen takes 5 weeks off of any exercise just to ward off overtrainining/burnout. you have run lots OF FAST miles and LOTS of races this year. you will be stronger for it mentally and physically. wish you luck.

I couldn't find a groove this morning either! Where were you on the trail? Nice last mile!!

I always start on Murdock off of 800 in Orem. I love the trail but I do not love running alone. Boring!

Julie - I'll keep running because I love to run and it keeps me sane but I'm honestly not registered for anything the rest of the year. Love having no pressure and more time to focus on other (more important) areas of my life. :)

well, I am glad for you. Way to keep the right focus. So wish I could have no mojo and run a 6:11 mile at the end ;D. Keep running injury free my friend. Happy Day.
