Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

10 miles this morning.  First 6 were in the dark so I basically ran around in circles by my house until it felt light enough to go out towards Santaquin.  I am really hating that the sun is coming up so late. :( 7:52 AP.

15 minutes of elliptical after the run.  I really am determined to focus on my nutrition, add volume, and lose 3-4lbs before the marathon.  I know that I run better around 116-117 and I can do it!!

PM:  I got my new shoes today so of course I had to try them out.  2 easy miles.

You can do it. I've got to do the same!

Nice Miles. Wow 15 minutes on the elliptical! Go you! ;) I hate the darkness too! It makes me so sad/mad! I like waking up at 6 and being able to run in the light, but good job for being safe and running around your house! You got this!!

You don't skip a beat do you? I curl up in a ball after a good race but you went out and did 10 miles AP 7:50'S! So what kind of focus on nutrition? Do you really want to do this? We could follow a plan together if you are interested...but I am still building up the guts!

Sue I know what you mean. I am still building the guts too. My problem is I do great during the week. I eat 90% healthy but then the weekend rolls around and I gain what I worked so hard to acheive during the week. grrrr

I don't have a real plan besides increasing protein and decreasing carbs. he he :)

mileage is looking great, rachelle.

greek yogurt, nuts, fruits, veggies! just make sure to get enough calories for the training you are putting in. :)

The trick to good nutrition learning to enjoy eating foods that taste disgusting, and having no allergies.
